Rayvon was making her Sunday Walmart trip and as she was walking to check out, she noticed a tall, handsome guy walk in and decided to head in his direction instead of the check out line. She spots him cruising the aisles and decided to stand at the end of the aisle browsing at the protein items. After giving “the look” Jovan walked over and started a conversation about Rayvon’s favorite protein. After some conversation Jovan suggested a local protein shop for her to try and then asked for her number.

They went on their first date later that week at her favorite restaurant at the time, Wild Wing Café. After the first date, they spent almost all their free time together, it didn’t take long for them to both realize they had found their person.

Over the next 5 years, the couple enjoyed traveling, attending sporting events and concerts.

They purchased a home, experienced career changes together, and continued to build a solid foundation. In January 2020 they welcomed their pride and joy, their baby girl, Jaylyn Reign.

It was Rayvon’s 29^th birthday and Jovan had been planning this surprise proposal for a few months. Due to covid lockdowns, she thought the plan was to get takeout from her favorite restaurant, desert from one of her favorite bakeries, and enjoy a nice quiet Sunday of football.

While out picking up food her best friend, Courtney, and his sister, Saphira was at their house getting everything set up. Rayvon’s grandmother was also on the way into town to celebrate her birthday. When they arrived home, she walked in to rose petals and candles everywhere, at this point she’s still thinking it’s for a romantic birthday dinner. While admiring the decor she turns around and Jovan is on one knee and Jaylyn is holding a ring box. Jovan pops the question, still, in complete shock, she says “yes” and then turns around to see Courtney and Saphira were there the entire time (they had actually been stuck hiding in the pantry).
